About us

LIFECYCLE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATIONS

From design and build to facility management and maintenance, we provide a sustainable, end-to-end solution for large scale engineering projects.

As part of the YTL Group, we were established to support the installation and operation of utilities for Hinkley Point C, the first nuclear power station project in the UK for 20 years. Today, however, we are applying our tried and tested approach to all kinds of utilities and infrastructure projects - helping clients save money, reduce waste and add long-term value to local communities and the wider economy. To us, it is simply the right (and the only) way to do things; a blueprint for the successful construction, operation and maintenance of projects.

Our services

DESIGN

We apply our considerable expertise and skills to the design of infrastructure and utilities services for civil, mechanical and electrical engineering projects. We liaise with clients and stakeholders to tailor designs to every project’s unique scope and needs – taking a whole-life view that balances capital investment with ongoing costs of operation and maintenance.

BUILD

Decades of infrastructure construction experience within the YTL Group means we know how to successfully deliver projects that are efficient to operate and practical to maintain. We engage with and manage sub-contractors and suppliers who align with our own high standards, eliminating the interface between design and build, and ensuring more effective delivery and less waste.

OPERATE

We take responsibility for operating key functions – water, waste, comms and power – to allow clients to focus on their core activities. Operating utilities and services we have designed and built is efficient, and allows us to add value with acquired skillsets and competencies.

MAINTAIN

Our knowledge of project design and materials, construction processes and operations (and constantly changing and evolving sites) allows us to develop a tailored programme of preventative and reactive maintenance that anticipates and addresses needs as they occur - reducing the risk that issues will go unnoticed or unattended, and deteriorate into more costly problems.

SUSTAINABILITY

We're committed to developing the skills of our people, improving the quality of our services and understanding the needs of our customers, to deliver efficient and sustainable projects on time and on budget. We’re also committed to protecting the environment, our people and the clients we serve. We have an established Sustainability Working Group to capture our achievements, review our progress and identify future environmental and sustainability initiatives to implement. Our working group creates, develops and implements our sustainability strategy, which is integrated and aligned to our business strategy and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We actively encourage our employees, clients, customers and suppliers to familiarise themselves with these global goals and identify and implement their own sustainability initiatives.
